Who I Work With

Supporting Students who learn differently

I work with students who struggle with focus, motivation, anxiety, or traditional classroom environments. Many benefit from additional structure, encouragement, and individualized instruction beyond what school can provide. Some of my students have ADHD or learning differences; others simply need a calmer, more personalized approach to learning.

Learning happens best when students feel understood and supported. I focus on building trust, reducing anxiety, and helping students feel capable and confident in their abilities. This approach allows students to engage more fully, take academic risks, and make steady progress over time.

My background includes an M.D. degree, 2 years of postgraduate psychiatric externship training, and over fifteen years of experience working closely with students who require a thoughtful, structure approach to learning.
I emphasize consistency, positive reinforcement, and practical strategies that support both academic growth and emotional regulation in an educational setting.
